Where should your tongue be?

Where should your tongue be?

The roof of your mouth is where your tongue should be.

The roof of your mouth is also the floor of your sinuses.

The tongue resting on the roof of the mouth helps to guide the growth and development of the palate and the floor of the sinus.

Improper growth not only impacts how your teeth look, it also may impact how well your sinuses work.

Breathe through your nose !

You are supposed to have all of your teeth!

Where should your tongue be?

Breathing through your mouth impacts your whole body.

In the image above the young boy had been nasal breathing for the first 10 years of his life, he then developed allergies and began breathing through his mouth.

By the time his was 17 years old mouth breathing changed the development of his growing facial structure.

Breathing through your nose humidifies the air, cleanses the air and increases the bodies uptake of oxygen.
